Preparatory work will take literally 10-15 minutes, and baking - 30-35 minutes. Therefore, in less than an hour, there will be a delicious dessert for tea on the table. This homemade dessert will delight the family on a weekend. Although on weekdays it can be quickly prepared, because any, even an inexperienced housewife, can handle the recipe.
For this cake, you can take not only puff-yeast dough, but also unleavened or puff pastry. Also, you can not only buy it, but also prepare it yourself in advance. And if you don't like pears, exchange them for apples, plums, cherries, apricots, etc. Baking can be done with any fruits and berries, the main thing is that they do not creep out and turn into mashed potatoes. For even greater taste, nuts, dried fruits, aromatic spices (cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, vanilla) can be added to the fruit filling. Ingredients:
- Dough - 200 g
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 2-3 tablespoons
- Flour - 1 tablespoon for sprinkling
- Pears - 3-4 pcs. depending on the size
Step-by-step preparation of a puff pie with pears and cinnamon from ready-made yeast puff pastry, recipe with photo:
1. Remove the dough from the freezer and leave to defrost at room temperature. Do not use the microwave to defrost. Sprinkle the work surface and rolling pin with flour so that the dough does not stick and use a rolling pin to roll it into a thin layer about 3 mm thick.
2. Transfer the rolled dough sheet to a baking tray. Wash, dry, core and cut the pears to any size: wedges, strips or cubes. Place the pears on top of the dough, leaving free edges on both sides.
3. Sprinkle the pears with sugar and ground cinnamon.
4. Fold up the free edges of the dough and cover the pears. Fasten the dough well together on all sides. If desired, you can make several cuts on top of the puff or sprinkle it with sugar.
