- Grapes - 500 g
- Flour - 400 g
- Baking powder - 1.5 tsp
- Sugar - 250 g
- Milk - 150 ml
- Butter or margarine - 180 g
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
- Refined vegetable oil - 100 ml
- Vanilla sugar - 1 sachet.
Step-by-step preparation of a pie with grapes - a recipe with a photo
1. Let's start with the test. Grind sugar with eggs and add vanillin.
2. In order for the cake to be truly airy, beat the eggs with a mixer at high speed for 6-8 minutes.
3. Add fats. We send softened butter or margarine for baking in small pieces into the dough, pour in vegetable oil here. A wonderful result is achieved if you choose extra virgin olive oil, although the dough will also be excellent with sunflower or corn oil. Pour in milk and turn on the mixer again.
4. Sift the flour, mix with baking powder and add to the dough through a sieve. It doesn't matter if the baking powder is not at hand - you can replace it with 1 teaspoon of baking soda, slaked with vinegar.
6. Knead the dough with a whisk or mixer. It should be quite thick, like a pancake.
7. Washed and dried grapes are separated from the twigs. Throw two-thirds of the berries into the dough, and leave one part for decoration. For the pie, it is best to choose a quiche-mish variety - so you will be calm that your guests are not worried about how to spit out the bones imperceptibly. But even if a few bones are caught, it's not scary, since when baked they taste like nuts.
8. Grease the baking dish with oil or lay out with parchment. We place the dough in it, slightly level the surface.
