Sour cream and chocolate jelly is an incredibly tasty and delicate dessert that is quickly prepared, contains natural, inexpensive and healthy products, the set of which is minimal. The taste of sweetness is in no way inferior to industrial cakes and pastries, and maybe even vice versa, it wins in many ways. In addition, there are many options for making this dessert, so the sweetness will never get bored.
For jelly, you can use sour cream of any fat content. The main thing is that it is not very sour. The fresher the product, the better and tastier the dessert will be. Sugar or icing is usually added for sweetness, but honey, jam, or any delicious jam can be used. For diet desserts, use substitutes: natural or artificial. If you use granulated sugar, then leave the mass for a while to dissolve the grains.
The second must-have product for dessert is gelatin. It can be used powder or sheet. Basically, they use the first option, because it is more commercially available and easier to dose. The recipe for this sour cream jelly is complemented with chocolate. However, if you wish, you can add more fruits and berries, milk and cottage cheese, nuts and coconut … For flavor, you can add vanillin, cinnamon, essences, citrus zest.

Ingredients:
- Sour cream - 400 ml
- Cocoa powder - 2 tablespoons
- Powdered gelatin - pack 11 g
- Sugar - 100 g or to taste
Step by step preparation of sour cream and chocolate jelly, recipe with photo:
1. Pour the sour cream into a convenient container in which you will prepare the dessert. Sour cream should be chilled, this is better whipped.
2. Add sugar to the sour cream and beat with a mixer at high speed until the volume doubles.
3. By this time, boil the gelatin in a little water. For detailed instructions on how to do this, read the manufacturer's packaging.
If an instant product is used, then 10 minutes is enough for swelling, for ordinary gelatin - half an hour. The swollen product is usually heated to dissolve the grains, but never boiled.
Pour the diluted gelatin into the sour cream jelly and mix again with a mixer.
4. In a prepared container, preferably glass, pour half a portion of sour cream jelly. Send the cups of jelly to the refrigerator for 20 minutes to freeze a little.
5. Pour cocoa powder into the remaining jelly.
6. Stir the sour cream jelly with a mixer to distribute the cocoa evenly.
7. Add the chocolate jelly to the bowl of white jelly and return the dessert to the refrigerator to chill for 1-2 hours. Before serving, you can decorate with sour cream and chocolate jelly with coconut or chopped nuts.
