Today I will tell you how to make delicious meatballs, in which I will add cheese and nuts instead of rice. But first, I want to share some of the secrets of cooking.
- Firstly, it is better to use fresh meat, not frozen. Twist the minced meat yourself, and do not buy it ready-made.
- Secondly, any nuts will do. In addition, if they are pre-fried, then the dish will be tastier, but at the same time more high-calorie. Consider this point.
- Thirdly, you need to put some kind of binder in the minced meat so that the meatballs do not disintegrate. This can be: starch, flour, eggs, mashed potatoes, cheese. You need to stir the mass with your hands, passing the minced meat between your fingers. Then it will be more homogeneous.
- The fourth tip is to form balls with your hands dipped in water so that the minced meat does not stick.
- The fifth nuance - in the summer season, when vegetables are sold at an affordable price, you can stew the dish in tomato puree. In addition to being healthier, it is also much tastier.
- It is advisable to stew meatballs in a wide bowl with high sides so that they can be put in one layer. Then they are better prepared. You can bake meatballs in the oven, on the stove, or in a modern kitchen "gadget" multicooker. You can also make them dietary and steam them in a double boiler or use the "grandmother's method", a saucepan of boiling water and a colander.
Considering all the above recommendations, you will not have any difficulties in preparing this dish. It should be served hot with any side dish. Alternatively, it will be delicious to boil crumbly rice, mashed potatoes or any cereals.
