Today we will prepare delicious, sweet lean buns stuffed with homemade jam, which can be very different: strawberry, apricot, raspberry, apple … The main thing is that it is not too liquid, otherwise it will flow out of the product. Such pastries will be an excellent addition to a lean table and will satisfy your hunger well when you want to have something to eat.

The dough for homemade buns is made lean in water. But if you are not fasting and are not a vegetarian, then you can do it with kefir or whey. Also, buns can be yeast or yeast-free. I have a dough with yeast added today. It always turns out well and is suitable for any baked goods (sweet or savory). Therefore, immediately make the dough twice as much, since the buns are eaten very quickly.

3. Then add odorless vegetable oil and knead an elastic dough so that it falls away from the hands and the walls of the dishes.

4. Shape the dough into a round ball, place in a bowl, cover with a clean towel and leave in a warm, draft-free place for half an hour. During this time, it will come up and increase in volume by 2 times. After that, wrap your hands around it again.

5. Twist the dough with a sausage and cut into equal 15 pieces, which are rolled out into a thin round layer about 5 mm thick.

6. Put a dessert spoon of jam on the dough cake.

7. Raise the edges of the dough to the middle and secure well so that the jam does not leak out during cooking. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and place the buns on it. If you want the baked goods to have a ruddy shade, use a silicone brush to coat the buns with vegetable oil.

Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the lean buns with jam to bake for 40 minutes. The surface of the finished buns can be coated with fruit syrup. This will give them an appetizing gloss. Serve warm or chilled with tea or coffee.
