I have already shared many recipes for pancakes on the site. In fact, this is a very interesting direction of cooking, because the options for their preparation can be countless. Today we will focus on the recipe for pancakes with yogurt and soda. Why is this recipe good?
Firstly, if you like pancakes with any fruit and berry fillings, but they are not available, it doesn’t matter. Buy fruit yogurt with berry additions to bake flat cakes on. Any yogurt is suitable: strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, cherry … Pineapple is especially interesting in a dish, because we rarely cook pancakes with this exotic fruit. Secondly, natural classic yogurt is an excellent substitute for kefir or yogurt. Therefore, if you are fed up with this fermented milk product, then you can safely use a wonderful replacement for it.
Yogurt pancakes also have one advantage over yeast baked goods, which many consider to be the most successful. Yogurt pancakes are more useful, and it takes much less time to implement them than to the yeast counterpart. The dough kneading process is done quickly, without waiting for it to rise.

- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Flour - 200 g
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Baking soda - 1 tsp without top
Step-by-step preparation of pancakes with yogurt and soda:
1. Pour yogurt into a container, sprinkle baking soda over the entire liquid, and stir. In order for the soda to react with the fermented milk medium, warm the yogurt to room temperature. You can take it out of the refrigerator in advance, or heat it up in the microwave. You do not need to overheat it. It is enough for him to acquire body temperature.
2. Add eggs to the liquid and stir to dissolve completely by weight.
3. Pour sugar into a container and sift the flour through a fine sieve until it is saturated with oxygen. Then the cakes will be tender and soft. Also add a pinch of salt. Whisk the food until smooth, so that the dough is smooth, even, without lumps. If you want fruit pancakes, then at this stage you can add pieces of fruit and berries.
4. Place the pan on the stove, add vegetable oil and heat. When it is well heated, take the dough with a tablespoon and put it in the pan. It can spread, but not at all. Keep the cakes on the stove over medium heat until small holes appear on the surface.
5. Flip the pancakes over and fry them for no more than 2 minutes until golden brown. On the second side, they cook much faster. Serve the pancakes warm with any fruit toppings, syrups, marmalades and jams.
