Cooking salad with sausage, crab sticks, cabbage and tomatoes. This dish is sometimes called crab salad, but there are a very large number of all kinds of cooking options. Today we will focus on one of them, which is perfect not only for an everyday menu, but also for a festive table. Crab sticks give a unique taste, tomatoes - piquancy, sausage - satiety, and vegetables - juiciness. The dish is prepared very simply and quickly. It will take you a minimal amount of time to make it, especially if you defrost the crab sticks in advance. In addition, all the ingredients can be found in almost any store.
For a family dinner, the proposed salad can be supplemented with boiled rice. Then it can become an independent dish that does not require an additional side dish. Ingredients:
- White cabbage - 250 g
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
- Sweet pepper - 1 pc.
- Vegetable oil - for dressing
- Milk or doctor's sausage - 200 g
- Cucumbers - 1 pc.
- Hot pepper - 0.5 pods
- Crab sticks - 3-4 pcs.
- Tomatoes - 1 pc.
- Greens (cilantro, basil) - a few twigs
Step by step cooking salad with sausage, crab sticks, cabbage and tomatoes, recipe with photo:
1. Wash and dry white cabbage. Remove the top leaves as they are usually tainted. Cut off the required amount and chop the cabbage into thin strips.
2. Wash the cucumbers, dry with a paper towel, cut off the ends and chop into thin strips.
3. Wash the tomatoes, dry with a paper towel and cut into wedges.
4. Peel the bell pepper from the seed box, cut off the inner partitions and cut off the stalk. Wash, dry and cut the fruits into strips.
