Hot sandwiches have become very popular among the population. To cook them, you do not need to have any culinary skills. They are prepared quickly, simply and from any product. An appetizer is served for breakfast, a quick bite and when unexpected guests arrive. And the presence of a microwave greatly simplifies the preparation of a hot snack. However, in the absence of such a device, the treat can be made in the oven or in a frying pan.
You can cook hot sandwiches from any type of bread: white, loaf, black, rye, baguette, etc. A whole loaf or sliced bread will do. You can also buy special "toast" bread for hot sandwiches at the supermarket. As for the filling, there are no restrictions! Sandwiches are made with all types of sausages (sausage, sausages, ham, minced meat, smoked meats), mushrooms, pâté, eggs, herbs, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, fish, seafood, etc. Moreover, almost every recipe involves the use of cheese, which is covered filling, and under the influence of heat it melts and becomes viscous. - Bread - 1 slice
- Raw smoked sausage (another type of sausage is possible) - 2 slices
- Cheese - 2 slices
- Ketchup - 1 tsp
- Parsley - 1-2 sprigs
Step by step preparation of a hot sandwich with sausage, herbs and cheese, recipe with photo:
1. Cut the bread into thin slices about 7-10 mm thick.
2. Brush the bread with ketchup. The sauce for hot sandwiches should be moderately dense, because the very liquid ketchup will be absorbed into the bread and the sandwiches will be “wet”.
3. Place thin slices of sausage 3 mm thick on top of the ketchup.
4. Spread the washed and dried parsley leaves on the sausage.
5. Top with sliced cheese. It can be sliced thinly or grated on a coarse grater.
6. Place the sandwich in the microwave and cook on maximum power for 2 minutes. The cheese should melt, become soft, tender and stringy. Serve the hot sausage, herbs, and cheese sandwiches right after cooking. When cold, they lose their bright taste. When serving, you can decorate them with sprigs of fresh herbs.
