Curd casseroles are my weakness. I love them not only for their excellent taste, ease of preparation, but also for the variety of additives that can be used in them due to the neutral taste of cottage cheese. Any fruits, nuts or berries will add new flavors to the casserole and sometimes color the baked goods in different shades. Today I want to cook a cottage cheese casserole with lingonberries - a berry that has a sour-sweet, slightly tart taste, which makes it possible to use it both in sweet desserts and in salty, spicy sauces. It is the taste of lingonberry that will balance the taste of baked goods and make it not sugary, but moderately sweet, pleasant, with a slight sourness.

We take out the finished casserole from the oven, cool it a little and serve it to the table.

You can prepare and serve sour cream sauce with lingonberries with this dish: it will perfectly harmonize with the finished dessert. To do this, beat with a blender half a glass of sour cream, 2-3 tablespoons of granulated sugar and a handful of lingonberries. You will get sour cream of a pale pink color, which, both in taste and in color, will go well with cottage cheese casserole.
