It happens that the house has run out of bread. In such cases, I was always rescued by the recipe for quick yeast cakes that can be baked in a pan. The flatbreads are very tasty, soft and are a great substitute for ordinary bread. Children just love these crumpets: you can tear them apart with your hands and dip them in the sauce. Try to cook them too.

Ingredients:
- Wheat flour - 2.5 cups
- Dry yeast - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp l.
- Water - 250 ml.
Step by step cooking quick yeast cakes in a pan
1. Sift wheat flour into a bowl, add salt to it.
2. Pour yeast with half a glass of warm water, add sugar to it. Wait 10-15 minutes, until the yeast disperses and the reaction starts. Pour the yeast solution into the flour, add the remaining water and olive oil and start kneading the dough. Depending on the type of flour, you may need a little more of it than indicated in the recipe.
3. The dough should be elastic and not very dense. We cover it with a clean cloth and leave it warm for an hour and a half to approach.
4. During the allotted time, the dough should increase in volume by 1, 5-2 times.
5. Divide the dough into small balls, each of which should be rolled out into a cake 10-15 centimeters in diameter. The thickness should not be thicker than 0.5 centimeters.
6. Bake each cake in a well-heated dry frying pan.
7. Fry the cake on each side very quickly, for 1, 5-2 minutes. During frying, the cakes will rise and become fluffy.
8. Now remove the cakes from the pan and serve. They are especially good in the heat, in the heat.
9. Quick pan yeast cakes are a great addition to any soup or main course. And if you spread them with condensed milk, then they are quite suitable for tea drinking! Try to cook them too.
