In the summer, when there is a huge abundance of vegetables and fruits, most people prefer to consume them in their natural form. Of course, you should not mix everything that comes to hand in one plate at once. It is enough to combine several savory products in one dish and the result will surpass all expectations. I suggest trying a delicious salad with tomatoes, gooseberries and a poached egg. There are two raisins in this recipe at once: the first is gooseberries, the second is a poached egg. Gooseberry gives a pleasant sweet and sour note to the dish, and poached - tenderness. When you pierce the yolk, it slowly spreads over the salad, which acts as an addition to the dressing.
Poached eggs on our table are no longer a novelty. This is very convenient when you need to quickly prepare a hearty and tasty breakfast. There are many ways to prepare such eggs. I chose the simplest method for myself - in the microwave. But if you are used to cooking it in a different way, then use it. There is no fundamental difference in how to cook it. It is better to choose thin-crust, sweet and sour gooseberries for salad. Sour and coarse berries will only spoil the taste of the salad and add coarse notes. And if you do not have gooseberries, then you can replace it with kiwi. These berries have a slightly similar taste, color and structure.

Ingredients:
- White cabbage - 200 g
- Cucumbers - 2 pcs.
- Eggs - 2 pcs. (1 piece for one serving)
- Vegetable oil - for dressing
- Tomatoes - 2 pcs.
- Gooseberry - Zhmenya
- Greens (any) - small bunch
Step by step cooking salad with tomatoes, gooseberries and poached egg, recipe with photo:
1. Place the egg in a glass of water and put it in the microwave for 1 minute. However, the cooking time may differ depending on the power of the appliance. Cook eggs at 850 kW for 1 minute.
2. While the egg is cooking, wash the cabbage and chop thinly into strips.
3. Wash tomatoes and cucumbers, dry with a paper towel and cut into thin half rings.
4. Wash the gooseberries, cut off the tails and send them to the salad. Cut large berries in half, leave small ones intact. Finely chop the greens and send to all products. Remove the boiled poached egg from the microwave.
5. Carefully drain the water in which the egg was boiled so as not to damage it.
6. Season the salad with salt and vegetable oil and stir.
7. Place the salad on a serving plate.
8. And place the poached egg on top. Sprinkle sesame or flax seeds over the salad, if desired.
