Ingredients:
- Cauliflower - 0.5 medium sized cabbage
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Dry ground garlic - 0.5 tsp
- Milk - 30 ml
Step by step preparation of fried cauliflower in egg and milk sauce, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the cauliflower under running water and dry with a paper towel. Slice it into medium sized florets. Beforehand, you can soak the head of cabbage in cold water for 5-7 minutes in order to extract the bugs from it, which may be in the inflorescences. They will float to the surface of the water and can be fished out.
2. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat well. Place raw cabbage blossoms into the skillet.
3. Turn on medium heat and fry the cabbage, stirring occasionally until golden brown.
4. Then season the cabbage with black pepper salt and cover. Reduce heat to minimum setting. Condensation forms under the lid, due to which the cabbage will be stewed and softened.
5. Pour the eggs into a small deep bowl and season with salt.
6. Whisk the eggs until smooth.
7. Pour milk into a bowl of eggs.
8. Stir the food again.
9. When the cabbage is soft and almost cooked, pour the egg and milk sauce over it.
10. Stir the cabbage to coat each bud with the sauce. When the eggs coagulate, the meal is ready. Remove the pan from the heat and serve the food to the table. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
