Ingredients:
- Frozen mackerel - 1 pc.
- Salt - 1/3 tsp or to taste
- Seasoning for fish - 1 tsp
- Tomato juice - 100 ml
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
Step-by-step cooking of mackerel in tomato foil in a pan, recipe with photo:
1. Defrost mackerel naturally without using a microwave oven and hot water. This is best done on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. Then cut off the head and tail. Open up the belly and remove the entrails. Remove the black inner film, wash the carcass well and dry it with a paper towel.
2. Add salt, black pepper and fish seasoning to tomato juice. Mix well.
3. Place the mackerel on a piece of foil, which should be 2 times the size of the carcass itself.
4. Pour the tomato juice over the fish.
5. Wrap the mackerel tightly in foil so that there are no empty spots.
