Flounder is a very healthy and tasty fish, especially if baked in the oven. You can cook it, of course, in a variety of ways: fry, stew, boil, bake on charcoal … All dishes are tasty and healthy, but the most useful and affordable way of cooking for everyone is baking in the oven, with which, I am sure, all fans of this seafood will agree … Therefore, we will prepare the flounder in exactly the same way.
You can bake flounder in a culinary sleeve or food foil, alone or with various vegetables. In this review, we will cook it in splendid isolation, simply putting it on a baking sheet and smearing it with mayonnaise, and if you wish, you can use any sauce. It will turn out to be very tasty, aromatic and appetizing. Delicate white fish meat will delight any strictly gourmet. And one of the main advantages of flounder is the relatively low content of bones, which allows it to be cut into fillets if desired. Equally important is the flattened shape of the carcass, which will also allow you to experiment with it, but we'll talk about this later.

Step-by-step cooking of baked flounder in the oven with mayonnaise:
1. Defrost the flounder first. Do this naturally without hot water or microwave ovens. Then wash it under running water and dry it with a paper towel. If you are not afraid to eat fatty foods, then you can grease the fish abundantly on all sides. If you want a more dietary dish, you can exclude mayonnaise altogether from the recipe. Also, lemon juice will help to reveal the taste characteristics of the dish. Therefore, before baking, you can sprinkle the fish with it. In addition, lemon juice will remove the unpleasant aroma that frightens off many.
3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and send the fish to bake for half an hour. It cooks very quickly, so be careful not to dry it out.
