Duck with potatoes and carrots in this recipe will be a new delicious culinary discovery for you. This is an excellent dish that is suitable for lunch and dinner, and for a family meal, and for a festive table. Food will always delight you and your family, loved ones, and guests. Despite the fact that duck meat is a little fat, it contains many useful substances. Since after cooking it becomes tender and juicy, and thanks to the vegetables, the duck is soaked in juices and exudes an appetizing aroma. Therefore, the food is perfect for preparing nutritious and satisfying dishes that give energy and strength.

- Buy only young duck, its meat is tender and soft. An old bird will turn out to be tough and tasteless, even with prolonged stewing.
- If you come across an old duck, soak it in water with vinegar or pickle it in lemon juice before cooking. This will soften the meat.

Ingredients:
- Duck - 0.5 carcasses
- Carrots - 2-3 pcs.
- Italian herbs - 1 tsp
- Any spices and herbs to taste
- Garlic - 1 head
- Onions - 2 pcs.
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Potatoes - 4-5 pcs.
- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Soy sauce - 50 ml
Step-by-step cooking of duck slices with potatoes and carrots, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the duck and remove the black tan. Remove internal fat, especially from the tail. Divide it into pieces and dry with a paper towel. Take out the parts from which you will prepare meals, and put the rest in the refrigerator.
2. Peel and wash vegetables (potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic). Cut them into large pieces.
3. Combine all the ingredients for the sauce: soy sauce, Italian herbs, salt, ground pepper and all your favorite spices and herbs. I used dried parsley, dried basil and ground paprika.
4. Place the duck pieces in a baking dish. You can bake it in a glass, ceramic, earthen dish or a regular oven baking sheet.
5. Arrange the chopped vegetables on top of the duck.
6. Pour the prepared sauce over the food. Close the form with foil or a special lid and send the dish to bake in a heated oven to 180 degrees for 1.5 hours. If you do not have a special form, then you can put all the products in a sleeve. You will get an equally tasty treat.
