If you are an avid forester, you have probably met russula more than once. These are mushrooms with different cap colors - green, red, blue, white, yellow. They grow from June to September, so you can enjoy their taste all summer long.
If you come across a yellowish russula, then you need to clean it - remove the top film from the cap. The rest of the varieties of this mushroom are not cleaned. How to cook them in sour cream with onions? Let's take a look.

If you are not versed in mushrooms or are not sure if it is a russula, do not collect or buy them. Some species of russula are very similar to the deadly mushroom - the pale toadstool.

Ingredients:
- Russula - 300 g
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Sour cream - 3-4 tbsp. l.
- Vegetable oil

After collection, soak the russula in water for 30 minutes - so all the branches and debris will float up and the mushrooms will be easy to wash.
The washed and clean russula must be boiled. Fill them with hot water and cook after boiling for 7 minutes.
We drain the water. And we put the russula in a colander and let them drain a little. Then we cut them into pieces.
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and spread the russula. Fry them until crusty over high heat.
Add the diced onion. Reduce the fire and fry for 5 minutes.
Add sour cream, reduce heat to minimum. Salt and pepper to taste, cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 7 minutes.
