Late spring early summer is the time for young potatoes. Choose the smallest root vegetables in order to prepare an amazingly tasty dish: young potatoes in the oven with garlic and rosemary. Its huge plus is that potatoes do not need to be peeled or even scraped for it. It is enough to rinse the tubers thoroughly and bake whole. With a golden crust on the outside and soft and crumbly on the inside, baked with aromatic basil and garlic, these potatoes will become a favorite and disappear from the plates in a matter of minutes. Believe me, I myself was convinced of this more than once! Prepare sour cream sauce with garlic for this dish and enthusiastic exclamations at the table are provided for you.

Ingredients:
- Young potatoes - 500 g
- Garlic - 2-3 cloves
- Rosemary - 2 tsp
- Vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp. l.
Step by step cooking of young potatoes in the oven with garlic and rosemary
Combine dry rosemary and pressed garlic. If you bought fresh rosemary, one sprig should be sufficient.
Wash the young potatoes thoroughly and dry them with a towel. Add the garlic-herbal mixture to the potatoes and mix so that each tuber is enveloped in the aroma of garlic and rosemary. For this dish, choose very small tubers, no more than 3-4 cm in diameter, literally for one bite.
Grease the dish in which you will bake the potatoes generously with vegetable oil, and after laying it out, shake it several times so that the oil greases the potato sides on all sides.
Send to the oven and bake at 190-200 degrees for at least 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Keep in mind that young potatoes are much denser than mature potatoes, so place a container of water on the bottom shelf of the oven to help the potatoes cook faster.
After taking the potatoes out of the oven, salt them with coarse salt or put the salt on the table. Serve with a spicy sour cream sauce.
