The original Pina Colada cocktail recipe. How to make this delicious, aromatic and refreshing drink at home using pineapple juice, coconut milk and white rum.
As for who came up with this cocktail first, there are two versions. The first version says that the Pina Colada cocktail with pineapple juice, coconut milk and white rum was mentioned in 1950 and published in the New York Times, where they wrote that this cocktail was invented by the Cubans.
And the second version, that I am more and inclined to it, says that it was invented in 1963 in San Juan de Don Ramon Portas Mingot. Today, there is a wall of marble in honor of this pleasant, alcoholic cocktail.

Ingredients:
- Pineapple - 50 g
- Pineapple juice - 150 ml.
- Coconut milk - 50 ml.
- White rum - 100 ml.
- Ice to taste

Making a Pina Colada cocktail
1. Cut a medium-sized pineapple slice (1.5 cm wide), cut a pineapple triangle out of it for decoration, and cut the rest into cubes.
2. Put sliced pineapple, ice cubes into a blender, and pour in: pineapple juice (150 ml.), Coconut milk (50 ml.), White rum (100 ml.). Grind until smooth (3-5 minutes).
3. Pour the resulting cocktail into a glass and decorate: make an incision in the pineapple triangle on the side of the pulp to plant it on the edge of the glass and stick a toothpick into it, on which to plant two Maraschino cherries. Add a straw and Long drink is ready!
For sweeter shakes, add 1-2 teaspoons of brown sugar syrup while whisking in a blender or sugar.
