Cooking stewed potatoes with apples in pots
1. Peel the potatoes, rinse under running water and cut into cubes about 2 cm in size. Divide the cut potatoes into two and distribute one of them evenly in the pots.
2. Wash the apples, remove the core with a special knife and cut it into 4-6 slices, which are arranged in the pots.
3. On top of the apples, spread the second part of the potatoes and sprinkle with peeled and finely chopped garlic. If desired, the garlic can be squeezed through a press. This is already a matter of taste.
4. Add bay leaves, peppercorns, season with salt, black pepper and any spices. I also added ground nutmeg for flavor.
5. Peel the onions, wash, cut into half rings and lightly sauté in a frying pan in vegetable oil. Then place it in pots and pour in 100 ml of drinking water. Close the pots with a lid and send them to bake in a heated oven to 200 degrees for 1 hour.
