When the season for fresh berries begins, I make sure to make these buns. With strawberries or currants and other berries. In winter, you can have strawberry jam or preserves. The buns are very tender and tasty. Their preparation is simple, despite the yeast dough. We will describe in great detail what and how to do and you will succeed.

Ingredients:
- Water or milk - 0.5 tbsp. (dough)
- Fresh yeast - 25 g (dough)
- Egg - 1 pc. (dough)
- Sugar - 4-5 tbsp. l. (dough)
- Butter - 100 g (dough)
- Flour - about 2 tbsp. (dough)
- Strawberry - 300 g (filling)
- Sugar - 3 tbsp. l. (filling)
- Yolk for smearing
Step-by-step cooking of strawberry buns in the oven
When you're working with fresh yeast, the first thing to do is dough. Warm up the water, it should be warm, but not hot. Pour half of the water into a bowl and add fresh yeast. Mix well until they are completely dissolved.
In order for the yeast to begin to react, we need to add 1 tbsp. l. sugar and 1-2 tbsp. l. flour. We mix. Cover the bowl with a towel and leave it warm for 15 minutes.
This is what the dough looks like in 15 minutes - a fluffy hat. If your dough has not risen, then the yeast is no longer suitable. Replace them and try again.
In a separate bowl, combine the remaining dough sugar and egg. Beat them with a fork or whisk until lightly lather.
Melt the butter and cool. Add to the egg mass.
Add some of the flour and stir.
Combine the dough and egg mixture.
Add the sifted flour in small portions, knead the dough. Leave it in a bowl and cover with a towel. We need it to rise. This will take 30-40 minutes.
This is how the dough rose in 30 minutes. Now you can work with it.
While the dough is rising, prepare a bun brush. We wash the strawberries, remove the stalks. We put it in a saucepan and add literally 20 ml of water. Bring the mass to a boil.
Potatoes with a crush or a fork mnem the strawberries. If you don't want strawberry chunks, puree with a blender. Add sugar to taste. Stir and set aside to cool.
On a table sprinkled with flour, roll out 1/2 of the dough into a layer no more than 3 mm thick. Lubricate it with strawberry fondant.
We twist it with a roll and cut into pieces.
Place the snails in a baking dish and cover with a towel for 30 minutes so that the buns rise again.
After that, grease the silt with whipped yolk and send it to the oven for 40 minutes at 180 degrees.
Ready-made buns look like chamomile, which we cool and serve for tea by breaking off a piece.
