Everyone knows the classic Italian lasagna with meat and Bechamel sauce. This is a delicious and satisfying second dish made from lasagna sheets (special type of pasta in the form of plates). Moreover, the filling can be varied, not only meat or vegetable. For example, there is a sweet version of this dish. So, very tasty and tender, and most importantly, it turns out a dietary sweet lasagna with cottage cheese and cherries. This dish is low in calories, so it is popular with people who count dish scores. This dish can be either main or dessert at the same time.
The peculiarity of this type of lasagna is that the dish tastes like fruit dumplings, while cooking does not take much time. Minimum time and dirty dishes - maximum benefit and pleasure! Lasagna sheets can be bought ready-made in the store or made by hand. Mostly the first option, because it takes a long time to prepare them. Ingredients:
- Lasagne sheets - 3 pcs.
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Cottage cheese - 300 g
- Cherries - 150 g (fresh or frozen berries)
- Sugar - 50 g or to taste
Step by step preparation of sweet lasagna with cottage cheese and cherries, recipe with photo:
1. Combine cottage cheese, sugar and eggs in a deep bowl.
Take cottage cheese of medium density. If it is very watery, then hang it in gauze beforehand to remove excess moisture. If, on the contrary, it is very dry, then add a spoonful of sour cream or milk. You can also regulate the calorie content of the dish with the fat content of the cottage cheese. For a more dietary meal, take a low-fat product, but the most delicious meal will be with homemade cottage cheese.
2. With a blender, beat the cottage cheese with eggs until smooth without curd grains.
3. Boil lasagna sheets in water. The cooking time is indicated on the manufacturer's packaging. I recommend choosing egg lasagna sheets, they are more expensive, but the dish with them is much tastier.
4. Place the lasagna sheets in a baking dish.
5. Apply half of the curd mass on them in an even layer.
6. Top with pitted cherries. If the years are frozen, then defrost them first. Wash fresh cherries, dry and remove pits.
7. Cover the curd-fruit filling with boiled lasagna sheets.
8. Repeat the same process: add the curd and cherries. Make another third layer of lasagna. The number of such layers can be any, depending on the availability of products and the height of the mold. Send sweet lasagna with cottage cheese and cherries to bake in a heated oven to 180 degrees for half an hour. Dessert can be served both warm and chilled.
