Cooking baked garlic potatoes in the oven:
1. Peel and wash potatoes. Dry with a paper towel and cut into medium-sized wedges. Do not crumble it very finely, otherwise it will quickly dry out and fry. Although it will be delicious too, somewhat similar to French fries.
2. Place the butter in a small deep bowl and melt in the microwave or water bath. Pour vegetable oil into the butter and pass the peeled garlic cloves through a press.
3. Also put salt, a pinch of pepper and any spices in the butter mass. I added ground sweet paprika and nutmeg. Stir the sauce well.
4. Place the chopped potatoes on a baking sheet and pour over the sauce.
5. Stir until each wedge is evenly coated on all sides with spices and sauce.
6. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the tubers to bake for half an hour. Try the readiness of the meal with a wooden toothpick - it should easily fit into the potatoes. If you try to cook with a fork or knife, the potatoes may fall apart.
Serve warm immediately after cooking. Such a dish does not require anything for a side dish, it is quite independent and tasty. Unless you can cut a fresh vegetable salad.
