Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 4 pcs.
- Minced meat (any) - 250 g
- Garlic - 2-3 cloves
- Hot pepper - 1/4 pod
- Salt - 0.5 tsp or to taste
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Spices and herbs to taste
Step-by-step cooking of baked potatoes in the oven with minced meat:
1. Wash the tubers and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut in half lengthways, season with salt and ground pepper. I used new potatoes, so I didn’t bake them peeled. If you use winter potatoes, peel them. Although not necessary, if you like baked skin, you can leave it.
2. I had minced mutton and was already ready. If you have a whole piece of meat, twist it through a meat grinder or chop it with a food processor. Season the minced meat with salt, ground pepper and any spices to taste.
3. Stir and add finely chopped fresh hot peppers. You can replace it with dry ground hot pepper. Stir the minced meat again.
4. Peel the garlic and cut into thin slices, which are placed on two halves of the potatoes. Form the minced meat into a small cutlet the size of the potatoes and place on one of its halves.
5. Cover the meat with the other half of the potato and wrap it tightly with cling foil so that there are no empty spots through which juice flows out during baking. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and bake the potatoes for 35-40 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden toothpick. Use it to pierce the tubers right through the foil, it should slide in easily.
