A dish that will feed the whole family and become a real culinary revelation - pork in batter, cooked in pieces in a pan.
Who doesn't love the taste of juicy pork cooked with your favorite aromatic spices? However, even lovers of popular meat dishes - steaks, escalopes, entrecotes and other options for cooking meat can be pleased and pleasantly surprised by the way this dish is prepared: pork in batter in pieces in a pan. You may argue: in batter, they say, they often cook vegetables or fish - products that do not require too long heat treatment. I hasten to reassure you: the meat is cut into thin strips for this dish and pre-marinated with spices, so the time allotted directly for frying in a pan will be enough. And thanks to the batter, the meat is very tender, retaining aroma and juiciness inside the dough.

Step-by-step cooking of pork in batter in pieces in a pan with a photo
Prepare the meat: rinse under running water, dry, remove the films. Cut the pork into small, elongated pieces across the grain.
Add salt and spices to the meat. It can be not only ground black pepper. You can use paprika, a pinch of nutmeg, thyme - choose your favorite flavors and spice them on the pork pieces. Stir the prepared pork well. Leave the meat to marinate for 20 minutes.
Sprinkle the pieces of pork with 1-2 tbsp. l. flour and stir. You can put the pickled pork in a zippo bag, add flour there and shake the contents well. This trick will help the batter to better "stick" to the pieces of meat. This simple trick will prevent the batter from spreading outrageously over the surface of the pan.
Prepare the batter. To do this, mix the pre-sifted remaining wheat flour and starch, and then beat in the egg. Stir the batter. The consistency should not be very thick.
Dip the pork in batter.
In a preheated skillet, fry the pork pieces on both sides in a sufficient amount of vegetable oil.
Place the battered pork until golden brown on kitchen paper towels to remove excess grease.
Serve skewered pork in batter with fresh or sautéed vegetables and herbs.
Gorgeous juicy pork in batter in pieces in a pan is ready! The dish will delight you with its rich taste and aroma. Bon Appetit.
