Duck is not as popular as chicken. Its meat is dark, fatty, has a pronounced taste and aroma. However, duck with apples is considered a classic Russian version of cooking poultry for a festive event. The food looks spectacular and exquisite, and has an exquisite taste. Not a single eater will refuse it. Usually poultry is stuffed with fruit and baked whole. But today we will cook the carcass differently. Cut it into pieces, which we put on a baking sheet. Add apple slices and prunes to them. Pour this whole composition with soy sauce and send it to bake in the oven.   • Prunes - 100 g
  • Ground black pepper - a pinch
  • Mustard - 1 tsp
  • Soy sauce - 50 ml
  • Italian spices - 1 tsp
  • Apples - 4-5 pcs.
  • Ginger powder - 1 tsp

1. Combine soy sauce, mustard, ginger powder and Italian spices in a small bowl. Stir the sauce well.

2. Wash the duck, scrape with an iron sponge and cut into portions. If you want to make the dish less high-calorie, remove the skin from the bird, because it contains the most calories, cholesterol and fat. Send the duck to marinate in soy sauce.

3. Stir the poultry to marinade each bite. Cover the bird with cling film and leave for 1 hour at room temperature. You can stand the duck and overnight if you like, but then put it in the cold.

4. Place the marinated carcass pieces in a baking dish. This can be a glass or ceramic container, or just a regular baking sheet.

Cover it with cling foil and place in a heated oven to 180 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. If you want the pieces to have a golden brown crust, then remove the foil 15 minutes before cooking. The cooked baked duck with apples and prunes in soy sauce turns out to be unusually tender. Dried plums add a slight sourness, while sliced apples add a spicy sweetness.
