For many, coffee is a simple drink that can be drunk in every cafe and institution. However, there are many recipes for its preparation. Several centuries ago, the Arabs used all kinds of spices and additives for coffee. Ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, and pepper were especially appreciated. Today, coffee is also brewed with these spices, so I want to share an interesting recipe for coffee with ginger, honey and black ground pepper. Fans of spicy taste will definitely appreciate the drink. It will seem to many that the pepper in coffee is not a completely unsuitable spice. But in fact, he gives the drink a zest and opens up new impressions. There is nothing difficult in preparing a recipe. The main thing is to follow a few rules, and then you get an excellent drink.
- First, the coffee beans need to be ground before brewing.
- Secondly, choose high-quality peppers, and preferably in grains, which also need to be ground before cooking. Ground pepper usually lies for a long time, from which it loses its aroma. But if you have a fresh bag of ground pepper, then use it.
- The third postulate is that it is advisable to use ginger with a fresh root, which is grated, and after brewing coffee, the drink is filtered through filtration. But ground powder is also suitable if it is fresh and fragrant.
You can use all sorts of spices for this drink, but do not overdo it so as not to spoil the taste. For coffee, it is preferable to take no more than 3 spice components.

Step-by-step preparation of coffee with ginger, honey and black pepper, recipe with photo:
1. Pour ground coffee into a Turk. If it is in grains, then grind it first.
2. Next add the ginger powder. If using a root, peel and chop finely. It will be enough 0.5 cm of the root.
3. Add ground black pepper to the coffee. Cover the food with water and place on the stove over medium heat. Bring to a boil (foam forms on the surface of the water, which will quickly rise up) and remove the Turk from the heat. Leave the coffee for 1 minute and return to heat. Bring to a boil again and remove from heat. Repeat the procedure one more time after a minute.
4. When the drink has cooled to 80 degrees, put honey in the potion and stir. If you add it to boiling water, then the useful properties of the product will disappear. And if you are allergic to honey, then replace it with sugar.
5. Pour the finished coffee with ginger, honey and black pepper into a cup and start tasting. You can strain the drink through cheesecloth to remove sediment and make it easier to drink.
