To begin with, I want to write a little about what prompted me to a temporary raw food diet. The impetus for the transition to healthy and live food was giardiasis. Giardia (unicellular parasites) slightly damaged my liver (they live and multiply in the gallbladder and liver) and during treatment I had to give up all flour, sweet, fried, fatty (in particular animal fats) and switch to a "healthy" diet. But I did not just switch to a "healthy" diet, but decided to try a raw food diet for at least a couple of months (I thank Vadim Zeland with his teaching "apocryphal transurfing" - the origins of the general teaching called "reality transerfing"). In addition to the above, it is also necessary to give up meat, fish and all food that undergoes at least some kind of heat treatment - to eat everything raw, salt also aside. Naturally, from mayonnaise, ketchup, GMO and other chemistry, I have long given up and I do not regret it, it is even a little disgusting to be at the table when someone eats this shop synthetic "rubbish". I have been drinking tea without sugar and only custard (herbal) tea has also been used for a long time, and I can no longer imagine how you can put sugar there.

Why is it temporary? I decided not to torment myself all my life with strict nutritional rules, I have the opinion that you need to eat not much (except for junk food) - meat with fish (preferably boiled), eggs, porridge and other stews to do with meat and vegetables. In addition, I love physical activity and jogging in the morning, and for this, nutrition must be enhanced with vitamin and protein products - meat, fish (although vegetables and fruits also contain enough vegetable protein for a full-fledged human life, moreover, it is better absorbed). But after spending those couple of months on a raw food diet, I had only positive opinions about this diet, as well as improved health and a cleansed body of toxins and toxins that fatty and fried foods give. Once a year I decided to do a month or two with live food.

Many people know the beneficial properties of milk thistle. It contains silymarin, it restores and protects the liver, helps to carry out detoxification and antioxidant protection of the body. I just needed it. Also, flax seeds have tremendous beneficial properties. As a result, I made myself a healthy vegetable salad (and not only) with these ingredients, and I really liked it.

For the first time I had to try vegetable pumpkin seed oil - now I am crazy about its taste in salads and other dishes. It is very useful, aromatic and, most importantly, it is better absorbed by our body than olive, corn and sunflower.

The portion is designed for two people, although if you try, you can eat everything alone, if you are very hungry. There is no need to put salt and ground pepper (red, black)!

Ingredients:

  • Tomato - 1 pc.
  • Cucumber - 1 pc.
  • Bulgarian pepper (sweet) - 0.5 pcs.
  • Lettuce leaves - 3-4 pcs.
  • Milk thistle seed meal - 1 tbsp. l.
  • Oat seed meal - 1 tbsp. l.
  • Flax seeds - 1 tbsp l.
  • Pumpkin seed oil - 2-3 tbsp. l.
  • Dill and parsley
  • Lemon juice or natural vinegar to taste

1. Prepare all the ingredients: wash and dry vegetables and herbs.

2. Finely and thinly chop the cucumber, bell pepper and tomato.

3. Finely chop lettuce, parsley and dill.

4. Put all the vegetables and herbs in a salad bowl and add flax seeds, oat seed meal and milk thistle (all in one level tablespoon). Season the salad with pumpkin oil in a proportion of 2-3 tbsp. l., and also to taste, add freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice, or natural grape vinegar, which I did. Mix everything well and a healthy salad for raw foodists is ready! Serve with bread instead of junk bread.
