The tradition of storing various products for the winter goes back to ancient times. Then our ancestors did not have the opportunity to enjoy vegetables and fruits in the cold season. Therefore, throughout the year they ate only natural products without artificial additives. Today, practice shows that every second hostess also makes preparations, thanks to which in the winter season there is an opportunity to benefit from the use of vegetables grown in summer.

The preparation recipe that I am telling you today can be used not only for cooking borscht, soups and cabbage soup, but also for many other popular dishes. For example, it is suitable for any stew, roast, stew, fish and much more. In addition, such a preparation will significantly save your time while preparing delicious dishes.

Soup preparations for the winter are prepared from a wide variety of vegetables: tomatoes, bell peppers, carrots, parsnips, celery, dill, parsley, sorrel, green onions, spinach … Naturally, depending on the components of the preparation, it is used for certain dishes. But if you prepare a universal blank mixture (carrots, onions, peppers, tomatoes, dill), then you can use it for many different dishes.

1. Peel the carrots, wash under running water and grate. You can use a food processor to speed up this process and make your job easier.

2. Peel the onions and cut them into 4 pieces to fit into the neck of the meat grinder. Wash the sweet red pepper, remove the stem with the tail and seeds. Wash the tomatoes and cut into medium slices. Place a meat grinder with a coarse mesh attachment and twist the tomatoes, onions and peppers. Also add grated carrots to the container to the food.
