Due to the fact that part of the wheat flour is replaced with bran in the composition of the products, the baked goods are low-calorie. Therefore, the dish is suitable for those who follow dietary and medical nutrition, as well as those who follow the diet, take care of the figure and want to bring it back to normal. Although even if you do not belong to these groups of people, you can treat yourself to delicious and healthy pancakes. After all, bran is very useful, they provide the body with the necessary nutrients and energize. - Fruit puree - 4 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons in the dough, plus 1 tsp. for frying
- Wheat flour - 100 g
- Salt - a pinch
- Honey - 2-3 tablespoons
- Bran (any) - 3 tablespoons
- Eggs - 1 pc.
Step-by-step preparation of pancakes with bran and fruit puree, recipe with photo:
1. Place the eggs in a bowl for kneading the dough and beat with a mixer until fluffy, smooth and lemon-colored.
2. Season the eggs with a pinch of salt and add vegetable oil. Mix the food well again with a mixer.
3. Add honey to the dough. If it is thick, pre-melt in a water bath. But do not bring it to a boil, otherwise it will lose some of the useful substances.
4. Stir the food until smooth.
5. Introduce fruit puree into the egg mass, which can be anything to your taste: apple, pear, plum, apricot, strawberry, etc. You can make fruit puree yourself, use canned or baby food.
6. Stir the food until smooth.
7. Add bran to liquid foods and mix well. Bran can be any, rye, oat, wheat, buckwheat, etc.
8. Then add flour, which sift through a fine sieve, so that it is enriched with oxygen, and the pancakes are softer.
9. Knead the dough well so that there are no lumps.
10. Lubricate the pan with a very thin layer of oil. Although it may not be used at all, since butter is added to the dough. But to be on the safe side before frying the first batch of pancakes, I recommend oiling the pan. Then take a portion of the dough with a tablespoon and put it in a well-heated frying pan, forming round or oval pancakes.
11. Saute the bran and fruit puree pancakes over medium heat until golden brown on both sides, about 2 minutes each. Serve the dessert after cooking with any kind of firewood.
