Puff pastry roll - a recipe from the "guests on the doorstep" section. Usually, these strudels are baked with apples. I suggest trying to make it with apricots, the resulting baked goods are very tender with a piquant sweet and sour note.

Ingredients:
- Puff frozen dough - 250 g
- Apricots - 20-25 berries
- Butter - 30 g
- Sugar - 50 g
Step-by-step preparation of a puff pastry roll with outlines:
1. Wash the apricots and pat dry with a paper towel. Divide in half and remove the pit.
2. Put butter in a frying pan and melt over low heat.
3. Add the apricots, add sugar and cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
4. They should caramelize and become soft.
5. Remove the dough in advance, about an hour in advance, from the freezer and leave to melt. Do not use a microwave oven as it can begin to cook in it, or it becomes very soft, which will be impossible to work with, and this will lead to the loss of layering. Roll out the thawed dough with a rolling pin into a thin layer of about 3 mm.
6. Place the apricot filling on the dough, leaving about 1.5-2 cm of free edge on all sides.
7. Tuck the dough on three sides, covering the filling.
8. Gently roll the dough into a roll and secure the seam.
9. Transfer the product to a baking sheet lined with parchment and oiled with a thin layer of oil. Place the roll with the seam down. Make oblique cuts on the roll at a short distance from each other. If desired, brush it with milk or an egg so that there is a golden brown crust.
10. Heat the oven to 180 ° C and bake the product for half an hour. Leave the finished roll to cool on a baking sheet, then cut into portions and serve.
