- Cooking time - 35 minutes, plus time for defrosting plums and dough
Ingredients:
- Puff pastry - 300 g
- Flour - 5 tablespoons for sprinkling
- Sugar - 50 g or to taste
- Milk or butter - to lubricate the puffs
- Plums - 300 g
Step-by-step preparation of puffs from ready-made dough with frozen plums, recipe with photo:
1. Defrost the puff pastry naturally. This process will take about 1 hour. Do not use a microwave oven for this. Then sprinkle the tabletop with a rolling pin with wheat flour and roll the dough into a layer no thinner than 5 mm. Do not forget that it is necessary to roll out from the center to the edges.
2. Cut the dough into equal squares with a sharp knife, about 12x12 cm. Although you can make puffs of any shape, so cut it into rectangles, circles, etc.
3. Place 2-3 pitted plums on the dough squares, depending on the size of the puffs. Place them with their cut upward, otherwise the juice released during baking will make the puff glitter.
4. Sprinkle them with sugar and a small amount of flour, which will take away the released juice and the puffs will bake well. Season the plums with ground cinnamon or vanilla, if desired.
5. Form puffs. Raise the edges of the dough to the middle and hold the edges together.
6. Hold the dough together well so that the filling stays inside.
7. Grease the puffs with butter, milk or yolk so that the finished products have a golden brown crust.
8. Place the puffs on a baking sheet, greased with a thin layer of vegetable oil.
9. Send the puffs from the finished dough with frozen plums to bake in a preheated oven to 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Sprinkle the finished products with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
