Crumble with cottage cheese - the most delicate cake with shortbread crumbs. Very delicate, crumbly and melting in the mouth. Simply put, curd crumble is a shortcrust cake with a curd layer, invented in England. The very word "crumble" means to crumble or crumble. Outwardly, the dessert looks like a pie, but inside it is filled with a juicy filling. It takes literally 50 minutes to cook along with the baking process, and does not require any complicated steps. This is a traditional English dessert that pleases with an appetizing crisp crust and no dough kneading process.
In this dessert, the proportion of ingredients for making crumbs is absolutely classic: butter: flour = 1: 2. But if the formed flour crumb turns out to be very fine, add a little oil, and if the crumb does not work at all, then add a little flour. Also, remember to use only natural butter, not margarine, in order to delight the crumble with its taste. The zest of the dessert is the cottage cheese filling, which will allow you to recognize the crumble from the other side. It turns out very tasty and satisfying pastries, which are good to serve with sour cream or a scoop of ice cream. For a change, the curd filling can be supplemented with any fruits and berries, nuts or dried fruits.

Ingredients:
- Flour - 300 g
- Cottage cheese - 300 g
- Baking soda - 0.5 tsp
- Salt - a pinch
- Sugar - 200 g or to taste
- Butter - 150 g
- Lemon - 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed juice
- Eggs - 3 pcs.
Step-by-step preparation of crumble with cottage cheese, recipe with photo:
1. Grate the cooled oil on a coarse grater. You can even use it from the freezer, because when rubbed, it will melt in the hands.
2. Pour half of the sugar into the butter mass.
3. Then add a pinch of salt and lemon juice slaked baking soda.
4. Sift the flour through a fine sieve to enrich it with oxygen and make the cake more tender.
5. Rub the butter and flour with your hands to make a smooth flour crumb. Send the bowl of dough to the fridge while you fill it up.
6. Put the curd and sugar in another clean bowl.
7. Next, add eggs to the curd and whisk the products with a blender until smooth, so that it is free of grains and lumps.
8. Place half of the flour crumbs into a baking dish and smooth into an even layer.
9. Spread the curd filling on top.
10. Pour the remaining curd mass onto the curd mass and smooth it out evenly. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the crumble with cottage cheese to bake for 30-40 minutes. When the cake is golden brown, remove it from the oven and leave to cool. It can be consumed both warm and chilled.
