In a sense, this dish resembles a casserole made from sheets of dough, which are filled with filling and sprinkled with sauce. Although you can find an endless number of different recipes for this dish. But in any recipe, the dish must be sprinkled with cheese.
If you follow the Italian menu, then the following types of cheese are used for lasagna: ricotta, mozzarella or parmesan. However, any hard cheese can be used for home cooking. The main thing is that when baked in the oven, you get an appetizing golden brown crust.
Any minced meat is used as a filling. You can use a mixture of beef and pork, and for a lighter dish, minced chicken is suitable. All types of sausages, mushrooms, vegetables, fish, seafood are also used. Some housewives make lasagna as a dessert, stuffed with fruits and berries. Ingredients:

- Meat (any sort) - 600 g
- Sour cream - 500 ml
- Hard cheese - 200 g
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Tomato sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Vegetable oil - for frying
Step-by-step preparation of lasagna from ready-made sheets:
1. Wash the meat, peel off the film, cut off excess fat and twist it through a meat grinder. Also, the meat can be finely chopped. Peel and chop the onion into small cubes.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and put onion to sauté. Bring it to light transparency.
3. Add minced meat to it, stir and fry until the meat is half cooked.
4. Then add tomato paste, salt, ground pepper, any spices to the minced meat. For example, basil, parsley, nutmeg, etc.
5. Stir the food and simmer under a closed lid for about 5-7 minutes.
6. Grate the cheese on a fine or coarse grater. While the size of the curd is not important, it will melt when cooked.
7. Put water in a saucepan and boil. Season it lightly with salt and lower the lasagna sheets to simmer. Cook them until soft and pliable. This process will take about 7-10 minutes. However, read the specific cooking time on the manufacturer's packaging.
8. Find a convenient baking dish and place the cooked lasagna sheets in it. Trim off any excess if it does not fit the mold. Do not throw away the leftovers, you can use them to patch up empty gaps.
9. Smear the lasagna sheets with sour cream.
10. Then line some of the meat filling in an even layer.
11. Continue this procedure: lay out the sheets of lasagna, brush them with sour cream and apply the filling. You must have at least 3 layers. Sprinkle the collected casserole with cheese shavings.
12. Heat the oven to 180 degrees and send the lasagne to bake for half an hour. For the first 20 minutes, cook it under a lid or foil. Then remove it so that the dish is browned. Cut the finished lasagne into portions and serve.
