The liver is a healthy and tasty product. However, many do not like it in the traditional fried form, but the liver cooked in tomato-sour cream sauce loses its usual taste, becomes soft and tender. The main thing is that the product is fresh and not subjected to repeated defrosting and freezing, which sometimes happens in supermarkets. Chilled liver is most often fresh and is suitable for preparing our dish.

- Beef liver - 300 g
- Broth or water - 1, 5 tbsp.
- Sour cream 10% - 200 g
- Tomato paste - 1-2 tablespoons
- Bulb onions - 1 pc.
- Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 3 tablespoons
- Greens to taste
- Salt, pepper - to taste
Step-by-step cooking of the liver in tomato-sour cream sauce
1. Wash the onion, peel and cut into small cubes.
2. Pour oil into the pan and heat well. Pour in the onion and fry a little with frequent stirring.
3. Add flour to the onion. According to our recipe with a photo of the liver in tomato-sour cream sauce, fry until a pleasant nutty smell for 3-5 minutes, stirring often.
4. Prepare the liver: rinse, remove the film, cut out the bile. Cut it into pieces.
5. In another pan, fry the liver in vegetable oil until the color changes.
