Frappe is a cold coffee drink. Frappe is translated from French as chilled, although it comes from Greece. It is very popular in the south of Europe, because remarkably refreshing and invigorating, because it is brewed from real coffee. It is generally accepted that coffee and drinks based on it should be hot. However, frappe is served and consumed only chilled. He was born in 1957 at the International Fair in Thessaloniki. Then the Nestlé company presented a chocolate powder that dissolves quickly in cold milk. At lunchtime, an employee of the company, D. Vakondios, wanted to make coffee, but did not find boiling water. Then he mixed Nescafe instant coffee with sugar in a shaker, poured it with cold water and shook it. The result is a cold, creamy coffee.
Today, in addition to sugar, many different products are added to the drink: milk, cream, ice cream, liqueur, syrup, chocolate, spices, even Coca-Cola. At the same time, any Frappe recipe is incredibly simple. Today I am sharing a recipe for making a wonderful Greek drink - cold Frappe coffee with milk. The drink has a pleasant delicate taste thanks to milk with a barely noticeable bitterness, which is compensated by the softness of the drink.

Ingredients:
- Brewed ground coffee - 1 tsp
- Drinking water - 40 ml
- Ice milk - 40 ml
- Ice - as needed
- Sugar - 1 tsp
Step by step preparation of cold Frappe coffee with milk, recipe with photo:
1. Pour brewed coffee into a Turk. Use freshly ground coffee to enjoy the taste of your beverage to the fullest.
2. Next, pour sugar into the Turk.
3. Pour drinking water into the Turk and place it on the stove.
4. Bring drink to a boil over medium heat. As soon as foam appears on the surface, which quickly tends to rise, immediately remove the Turk from the fire. Otherwise, the coffee will run away like milk.
5. Pour the drink through filtration (fine sieve or cheesecloth) into a serving cup.
6. Pour iced milk into a cup of coffee. If necessary, cool the cold Frappé coffee with milk more, add crushed ice. Usually, before adding milk, it is whipped with a mixer or using a shaker so that foam forms on the surface, and then gently add to the coffee.
