Today I want to propose to prepare a delicious salad from the tongue, which is supplemented with cheese and pomegranate. This exquisite combination of ingredients will make the treat rich and very satisfying, and the ruby pomegranate seeds will give the salad a noble and spectacular look. You can serve it on a festive birthday table, treat your girlfriends on March 8, pamper your loved one on Valentine's Day, or just cook it on a weekday to create a festive atmosphere in the family.
A few more words about the benefits of this dish. The tongue is a solid muscle, which contains many useful substances. It contains proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins (B, E, PP), macro- and microelements. In this case, cholesterol in 100 g is only 150 mg. Due to its composition, it is a dietary product. Ingredients:

Cooking Tongue and Pomegranate Salad:
1. Wash your tongue under running cold water. Clean the surface of the tongue from dirt with a knife or a regular brush, as if scrubbing. The pork tongue is small, so it can be boiled whole. Cut a large tongue, such as a beef tongue, in half. So, put your tongue in a large saucepan, fill it with water and send it to the stove. To enhance the aroma and taste, you can add bay leaves, peppercorns, a clove of garlic and other roots to the broth.
2. When the water boils, reduce the flame, remove the froth with a slotted spoon or spoon and cook until tender, ie. softness. The cooking time is 2, 5 to 3 hours. Readiness can be checked with a knife, if the tongue is easily pierced, then it is ready.
3. Then remove it from the broth and transfer to cold water for 5 minutes.
4. Then carefully peel off the skin. If the tongue is well welded, then it comes off easily.
5. Everything, the tongue is ready and you can continue to prepare the salad. Therefore, chill it well and cut into medium-sized pieces; do not pour the broth out, it will make a delicious first course.
6. Prepare the pomegranate by this time. Wash it and dry it. Cut in half with a sharp knife and remove all the seeds from one half.
7. Cut the cheese into medium-sized cubes of about 8 mm.
