Ingredients:
- Chicken hearts - 700 g
- Onion - 1 pc.
- Sour cream - 200 ml
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Bay leaf - 2 pcs.

- Salt - 1 tsp or to taste
- Ground black pepper - 1/3 tsp or to taste
Cooking stewed chicken hearts
1. Wash hearts under running water. Cut off fat with a knife, remove blood vessels and any formed blood clots. Dry them with a paper towel so that there is not a lot of splashing during frying, when the fat and water are combined.
2. Peel the onion and garlic, rinse and chop.
3. Pour vegetable oil into a saucepan or frying pan suitable for frying and heat. Lower the offal, turn on high heat, and cook for about 10 minutes. Cook over high heat to brown them. If the temperature is not sufficient, the product will start to stew and lose its juices. Therefore, it is important, like meat, to quickly fry it over high heat, stirring occasionally.
4. When the offal is covered with a golden crust, add the onion and garlic to it in a saucepan.
5. Now you can set the temperature to medium and continue to cook halfway through. It is only necessary that the onion is sautéed, while the hearts are not burnt.
6. Then add sour cream, lavrushka, peppercorns and salt. You can add any spices and herbs to your taste to your taste: nutmeg, soy sauce, white wine, ginger, etc.
7. Stir food and bring to a boil over high heat. Set the temperature to a minimum, cover the food and simmer for about half an hour. At the end of cooking, adjust the taste with salt and pepper to the desired result.
