Meat with rice garnish is a classic of Russian cuisine. But with a little imagination, and having cooked a delicious hot dish in the oven, you can get an unusual and very tasty dish. The recipe is convenient in that you do not need to separately boil rice and cook meat. Here, all the products are placed in a mold at once and sent to be baked in the oven. Despite the simple cooking method, the dish looks unusual, bright and everyone will definitely like it. At the same time, the dish contains everything you need for good nutrition, and does not require any supplement, except perhaps a fresh vegetable salad.

Do not skimp on meat when cooking. Forget a premium pork tenderloin or loin. Neck is also suitable, but with minimal body fat. Leave the budget goulash for cutlets. A too lean sirloin will not work, because a little fat in the dish is welcome! Although, if you want to lose those extra pounds, take a lean piece or replace pork with turkey or chicken.

If you like grain by grain rice, use steamed cereals. If you prefer a more viscous side dish to taste, use round rice grits, and pour in a little more water than usual, i.e. not 2: 1, but 3: 1. If you need the cereal part to reach the condition faster, pour the rice with hot water.

1. I have a bone from the ridge, so I used it for the recipe. It will add great satiety and nutritional value. If it's not there, that's okay. You can just increase the amount of meat. So, wash the bone under running water, dry it with a paper towel and put it in a baking dish.

2. Wash the rice under 7 waters to rinse off the gluten well. Then the rice will separate from each other. To do this, place the rice in a sieve, which is immersed in a bowl of water and rinsed until the water is clear. Then place the rice in a baking dish evenly.

3. Wash, dry and cut the meat into medium-sized pieces such as kebabs or chops. The cooking time will depend on the size of the pieces; the smaller they are, the faster the dish will cook. Place the meat in the pan, covering the rice completely. During baking, the meat juice and fat will drain and saturate the rice.
