Step-by-step cooking of boiling white beans with soaking, recipe with photo:

2. Place the beans in a sieve and rinse under running cold water.
3. Send it into a deep container.
4. Fill beans with drinking cold water in a ratio of 1: 2: 1 serving of beans to 2 servings of water.
5. Leave it to soak at room temperature for 4-6 hours, but not more than 12 hours. During this time, the beans will soften, and all the harmful substances will be released into the water. At the same time, change the water to fresh one every 2-3 hours so that it does not ferment. If it is not possible to change the liquid, add a little soda to the water: for 500 ml of liquid? tsp soda.
Soaking the beans will help not only cook them quickly, but also avoid increased gas formation in the stomach.
6. Tip the beans into a sieve to drain all the water, and rinse them under running cold water. The water in which the beans were soaked is not suitable for consumption.
7. Transfer the beans to a heavy-bottomed cooking pot.
8. Fill them with drinking water in the same proportion - 1: 2.
9. Boil the beans after boiling without a lid over medium heat for 1 hour until tender. Add water as needed during cooking to prevent the beans from burning. Salt them 10 minutes until tender. Determine the readiness of the beans by tasting them, if they are tough and undercooked, continue to cook for 5-10 minutes and try again.
10. Throw the finished beans on a sieve to drain excess water.
You can also cook white beans with soaking in the microwave for 10-15 minutes, depending on the power of the device. In a multicooker, the time will increase to 60 minutes.
