Omelet, as an independent dish, has been widespread for many decades, but salads with it have been in culinary fashion not so long ago. The basis of green salad with omelet is a mixture of eggs and milk. It can be fried, then the dish will be richer and more nutritious. Or you can steam or microwave. The second option is more dietary, because prepared without the use of vegetable fats. Any green products can be used as salad greens. White cabbage, green salad, rucola, cilantro, green onions, cucumbers, etc. A green salad with an omelet is harmoniously combined with many dressings: vegetable and olive oil, creamy sauces based on sour cream and mayonnaise. - Green lettuce leaves - 5-6 leaves

Step by step preparation of green salad with omelet, recipe with photo:
1. Prepare an omelet first. To do this, pour the contents of the egg into a bowl, add milk and salt.
2. Whisk until smooth. Such an omelet will turn out to be light, like an airy egg mousse. If you want it to look like a thick puffed pancake, then add 1 tbsp. flour. Then the omelet will turn out to be elastic, more satisfying and high-calorie. You can use cornstarch instead of flour. Its difference from potato is the low amount of carbohydrates.
3. Pour the egg mass into a silicone muffin pan.
4. Send it to a strainer, which is placed in a pot of boiling water. Cook the omelet in a steam bath, covered, until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
5. While the omelet is cooking, wash, dry and cut the lettuce leaves into thin strips.
6. Wash green onions, dry and chop.
7. Wash dill and cilantro, dry and chop finely.
8. Cool the finished omelette completely.
