He will help out in the absence of time for baking complex products or when you want something tasty, but you don't want to mess around with the dough for a long time. Such recipes are also popular in the summer, when it is hot at home and there is no desire to turn on the oven.
To make a cake without baking, you will need any cookies, gingerbread cookies, muffins, biscuit cakes and other confectionery products. You can buy them in the supermarket in the pastry section. You can use assorted cakes, for example, muffins and gingerbread, crackers and shortbread cookies … The main thing is that the main ingredients are soft, then the cake will be well saturated with cream. The proposed dessert recipe is very simple and even a child can handle it. Therefore, if you have never baked cakes yet, then start with this option. In addition, children can be involved in the preparation of such a cake without baking, because it is impossible to spoil anything here.
If desired, you can add any fruits and berries to the cake. Step-by-step preparation of a cake without baking from cupcakes and sour cream, a recipe with a photo:
1. Cut or break the muffins or cookies into equal sized pieces. Their size should be medium, because very large slices are poorly saturated with cream, and small ones will turn into a homogeneous mass.
2. For the cream, take a large bowl, into which pour the sour cream and sugar.
3. Using a mixer, beat the sour cream with sugar until doubled in volume. If you want to make the cream even tastier, then add condensed milk, melted chocolate, soft butter and other additives.
I recommend taking sour cream 20% fat, because it is denser and the cream will be more stable. If the sour cream is very liquid, then it will spread in the finished cake. To thicken it, add mute dissolved gelatin to the cream.
4. Add the sliced muffins to the sour cream. If you want to make the cake even tastier, you can add roasted walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, cashews, or regular peanuts. You can also add berries or fruits.
5. Stir in the cream and muffins so that each bite is covered with cream.
6. Place cake on a wide dish in a slide.
