Ingredients:
- Pork pulp - 500 g
- Potatoes - 2-3 large tubers
- Carrots - 1 pc.
- Champignons - 300 g
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt, pepper, other spices - to taste.
Step-by-step recipe for pot roast with pork and mushrooms
1. Before starting work, it is necessary to prepare all the products: wash the meat, peel the vegetables and also wash them. Cut the meat into small cubes, no more than 2 cm. Cut the champignons (if they are not very large) into 4 parts.
2. Carrots and potatoes are also cut into pieces, being careful not to grind.
3. Put the meat and mushrooms in a hot pan, pouring a small amount of vegetable oil. Over high heat, stirring occasionally, let brown the meat and mushrooms. Salt lightly. There is no need to thoroughly fry the meat - this is just a preparatory step that will help improve the taste characteristics of pork, and therefore roast in pots in general.
4. Transfer the fried meat and mushrooms to pots, filling them by about half or a little less. There should be enough meat to make the roast hearty.
5. Put chopped carrots on top of the meat. She will add cheerful colors to the dish, and make it softer.
6. The next component is potatoes. We're almost done. Remember to season with salt and pepper in the roast pots. Pour about 100 ml of clean water into each pot. If you like flavorful food, just add a dash of Provencal herb blend. They add sophistication to this simple dish.
7. In the oven at 200 degrees, the pot roast will be ready in 35-40 minutes.
8. This dish can be served hot. The pots are served in portions or divided into two. The dish is hearty enough to eat half of it!
