Making bread, ham and cheese rolls step by step
For rolls, only bread pulp is needed, so we cut off the crusts from each slice of the loaf. Don't rush to throw them away: you can use them for cutlets or make crispy snacks by frying them with salt and aromatic herbs. Roll out each piece of bread with a wooden rolling pin.
Put the filling for rolls (thin slices of cheese and sausage or ham) on each piece of bread.
We form rolls by tightly folding the pieces of bread with filling.
Dip each roll in a beaten egg and roll in breadcrumbs on all sides.
In a preheated pan, fry the rolls on all sides until golden brown.
Serve hot with tea or coffee. It is good to serve some kind of dip with such an appetizer: sour cream-garlic or curd sauce, even ordinary ketchup will go very well.
Ruddy bread rolls are a simple snack that will appeal to both you and your guests. One problem - they end very quickly!
