Lazy cabbage rolls are a fairly common low-calorie dish, loved by many, and cooking will not take much of your time. Each housewife prepares them in her own way. Someone bakes in the oven in the form of small round oblong cutlets, someone stews in a saucepan, someone bakes like a puff casserole. But the basis is the same: meat, cabbage, rice and sauce.
I offer the fastest and one of the simplest recipes for lazy cabbage rolls with rice and minced meat in a slow cooker. To do this, you need to boil rice until half cooked, fry vegetables with meat, stew cabbage, then combine all this, pour in sour cream-tomato sauce, add spices and simmer until tender. The result is a delicate, juicy, non-nutritious dish, and most importantly, very tasty.

Step by step cooking lazy cabbage rolls
1. First of all, wash the rice thoroughly, you need to rid it of starch as much as possible, so that after cooking it remains crumbly and does not stick together. Rinse until the water you fill it with loses its turbidity and becomes clear. Boil it until half cooked in slightly salted water and then fold it on a sieve. I use the most common, inexpensive steamed rice, by the way, it has such an advantage: it does not boil over, which is very handy. In general, you can use any other.
2. Peel, rinse onions and carrots under running water. Chop the onion for lazy cabbage rolls with minced meat and rice as small as possible, rub the carrots on a coarse grater. Turn on the multicooker to the "Frying" mode, add a few tablespoons of sunflower oil and start frying the onions, after a few minutes add carrots to it and sauté the vegetables until golden brown.
3. Then add minced meat to vegetables, simmer all this for about ten minutes. Of course, before cooking lazy cabbage rolls, the minced meat must first be thawed or cooked fresh. If you defrost, then it is best to do it in the refrigerator, at a low above zero temperature, so the meat will not lose its structure and juiciness, it will remain the same as it was before freezing. You can take any minced meat to choose from: pork, chicken, beef, it doesn't matter. I cooked it from chicken and pork meat in equal parts.
4. In the process of stewing, the meat will first be taken in one lump due to the amount of protein, loosen it into small particles using a wooden spatula or a special spoon for a multicooker.
5. In the next step, wash and then chop finely white cabbage. It is advisable to choose a vegetable of hard and juicy varieties.
6. Put it in a multicooker and stir with all the ingredients. Now switch the “Searing” mode to the “Braising” mode. Cook for 15-20 minutes, until the cabbage is approximately halved in size.
7. Next, add the boiled rice and stir everything. Then dilute the sour cream with warm boiled water in a 1: 1 ratio, add tomato sauce or ketchup to it, mix well in a separate container and pour into the mulvar. Add more water as needed. Its amount can directly depend on the juiciness of minced meat and cabbage. Season with salt and pepper to taste, add bay leaf or other favorite spices if desired, mix everything and simmer until tender. Serve hot and with sour cream. Well, that's all, lazy darlings are ready. Bon Appetit!
So, having spent quite a bit of time on cooking lazy cabbage rolls, you will feed your family with a delicious and delicate lunch or dinner, which even children will be happy to eat.
