To do this, it is important to choose a dietary minced meat, and do not fry the products in vegetable oil. Then the food will turn out to be hearty and healthy. This is especially important when preparing meals for children. At the same time, it is important that the minced meat is juicy, then the minced meat and potato casserole will be tender and rich. There are some secrets for this.
- Cook the minced meat yourself, because it is rare to buy a tasty and high-quality product in the store.
- You can make minced meat in large quantities and freeze some of it for future use. This should be done in special freezing bags, trying to remove air as much as possible.
- For a better taste, grate frozen minced meat on a coarse grater.
- If necessary, the grated meat can be passed through a meat grinder.
- Add onion, twisted in a meat grinder or finely chopped with a knife, add juiciness to the minced meat.

Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 4-6 pcs. depending on the size
- Meat (any sort) - 500 g
- Ground black pepper - a pinch
- Spices and herbs (any) - to taste
- Milk - 150-200 ml
- Eggs - 1 pc.
- Salt - 0.5 tsp
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Hard cheese - 150 g
Step-by-step preparation of minced meat and potato casseroles, recipe with photo:
1. Wash the meat, dry it with a paper towel, cut off the films with veins and twist through a meat grinder. Peel the onions and also pass through the meat grinder auger. Add salt and black pepper to the minced meat. You can put garlic passed through a press, any spices and herbs to taste.
2. Stir the minced meat well. Do this with your hands, passing it between your fingers.
3. Peel the potatoes, wash and cut into thin slices. Place the potato rings in a baking dish, season with salt and black pepper.
4. Apply an even layer of minced meat to the potatoes.
5. Put another layer of potatoes on the minced meat, season with salt and spices.
6. Next, repeat the minced meat layer.
7. Pour the egg into a bowl and whisk until smooth.
8. Pour milk at room temperature to the eggs. Do not add hot milk, otherwise the eggs will curl.
9. Add fine cheese shavings, season with salt and black pepper.
10. Pour the milk sauce over the casserole. Close it with a lid and send to the oven. Bake it for 40 minutes at 180 degrees. Serve the prepared minced meat and potato casserole hot, freshly cooked.
